I do a mean roast chicken (my recipe is pretty much the same as Karen's) and as Anil reminded me the other day, my Indian stir-fried okra ain't so bad either.
When not cooking from a cookbook, a cookbook stand won't do (ours isn't fat enough for most of our cookbooks anyway). We've started using a nice strong magnet to hang our recipes from the stove hood. Handy!
